Requirements
  • Operating System : Linux
  • Web Server : Apache
  • PHP Version: 5.4 or Higher
  • PHP allow_url_fopen ON
  • PHP FreeType library
  • PHP GD Library
  • PHP CURL Enabled
  • MySql: 5.0 or Higher
Installation
  1. Unzip "upload.zip" package in an empty directory where you want to install Viral Media Portal
  2. Change permissions of "/config/config.php" to 777
  3. Change permissions of "/uploads" directory to 777
  4. Change permissions of "/uploads/thumbs" directory to 777
  5. Change permissions of "/images/" directory to 777
  6. If you are installing on localhost (your computer) navigate to http://localhost/example/install/
  7. If you are installing on a live server navigate to http://www.example.com/install/
  8. Now follow these instructions and fill in the fields required to properly install Viral Media Portal
  9. Enter your Database Information and Click Next
  10. Enter Website Information and Click Next
  11. Enter Admin Details and Click Finish
  12. If you See Successful Installation follow other instructions on page to login to admin panel
  13. After its done adding products delete install directory
  14. Change permissions of "/config/config.php" back to 644
Upgrade
  1. Take Backup of config.php file located in config directory of your script installation.
  2. Overwrite older files with new one's.
  3. After Successfully Overwriting All Files. Restore old config.php file.
  4. Run install/upgrade.php
  5. Upgrade Done.
Usage
  1. Goto http://www.example.com/admin/ where you have installed Viral Media Portal
  2. Login using your Account details you have provided during Installation
  3. From admin panel its pretty much easy to explore everything
